How we calculate
Range = battery (Wh) ÷ consumption (Wh/km). Base consumption is 7 Wh/km for an e-bike and 10-13 Wh/km for a cargo bike — figures from real-world measurements, not laboratories. It is adjusted for assist level, terrain, temperature and battery wear, and we show ±15% because wind and tyre pressure always vary. No calculator can be exact — but this interval is closer to reality than the "up to" number in the brochure.
